Mentoring the CEO
Xenva helped the CEO to obtain some seed funding for assessment of the technology which did show great promise. Xenva then helped the CEO to formulate his first ever business plan for the company which was used to raise the first round of venture capital funding. The Xenva team has subsequently helped the CEO in several fund-raising rounds by providing budgets and financial models to prospective investors, by attending investor presentations and by negotiating the funding deals alongside the CEO. The CEO of Crescent Diagnostics had found an interesting new potential diagnostic for osteoporosis at the University of Limerick in Ireland. He asked Xenva to assess whether this technology showed adequate promise to attract investors.
