Drug Discovery Company Formed and Taken to the Next Stage in the Life-Cycle
Xenva helped to form the new company, Spirogen, around the interesting cancer drug development that had been taking place at the University. Xenva provided the company its first CEO and CFO who have stayed with the company for almost 10 years and acquired well over £11 million of funding for it. The Xenva team provides the outsourced Finance Function, assists with the IP portfolio management and has built the management team of scientists and commercial staff. Spirogen has now grown into a drug development company and has licensed its lead molecule to a French company.
